Pioneer Services celebrates Military Appreciation Month through events and celebrations

KANSAS CITY, Mo.
May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces, and their families, for the incredible sacrifices, struggles, and successes they have had defending our country. Pioneer Services is celebrating the contributions of military families by holding several events and giveaways at offices across the country.
"Since we exclusively serve the military, we see every day as Military Appreciation Day," said Karen Von Der Bruegge, chief marketing officer for Pioneer Services. "May is special, though, because there are so many great events and programs going on that show just how important military families are to our country, and how grateful Pioneer Services is for what they do."
Pioneer Services' offices located in Fayetteville, N.C., (serving Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base) and Lakewood, Wash., (serving Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base) will partner with organizations throughout the month to honor military families. The company will also provide movie tickets so that service members and their families can enjoy some time together.
"Going to see a free movie, enjoying dinner with friends or a loved one, or receiving a small bouquet of flowers are small, but important, ways we are showing our appreciation," said Von Der Bruegge. "They get an evening to relax and take it easy, and we get a way to say 'thanks for all you do.'"
