Assistant Manager Amanda Crompton receives honor for her dedication to military families
May 1, 2008
Giving back to the military community is part of the culture at Pioneer Services. For the Pioneer Services office serving the Camp Lejeune, N.C., area, Assistant Manager Amanda Crompton embodies that culture, which is why the local chapter of the Armed Services YMCA named her their "Volunteer of the Year."
Crompton received the extraordinary honor due the many creative fundraising ideas she has developed for the ASYMCA chapter. She has consistently donated her time to initiate and run multiple events ranging from fundraiser pancake breakfasts to clothing drives. In total, Crompton has donated 80 hours of time to the Camp Lejeune ASYMCA.
Crompton is also eligible to receive the national award, presented at the ASYMCA's annual training in Washington D.C.
