Pioneer Services wins Better Business Bureau award for second straight year

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
Pioneer Services was honored by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Colorado with the "Excellence in Customer Service Award" (EICS). This is the second straight year Pioneer Services has received the honor after a lengthy nomination and interview process in which the customer service procedures of the company were scrutinized. The award was presented at a ceremony Sept. 25, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo.
"When you serve the military community, proving you have the best interests of military families in mind at all times is important," said Jeff Major, office manager. "Receiving this award for two consecutive years shows that's exactly what we do: help military families take control of their finances, and do so while showing respect and a level of service not often found at a financial services company."
This is the 13th year the Southern Colorado BBB has handed out the EICS award to deserving companies. One of the most intensive and complex local BBB awards in the nation, the EICS application includes a detailed questionnaire, on-site visit, and interviews with the office staff.
"It was a very, very thorough judging process, and almost every aspect of our customer service plans and procedures was scrutinized," added Major. "So for us to win it again reminds us that we are doing the right things, the right way, and with the right people. Of course, we're not done—we'd really like a three-peat, and plan on working even harder next year to get there."
