Pioneer Services’ Jodi Vickery named one of Kansas City’s ‘Rising Stars’

Jodi Vickery of Pioneer Services was Named a “2013 Rising Star” in Kansas City by KC Business Magazine.

For the past four years, KC Business magazine has recognized the "Rising Stars" of Kansas City. These outstanding individuals, all of whom are under the age of 40, exemplify hard work, dedication to corporate success, and personal growth. Pioneer Services, the military division of MidCountry Bank, is proud to announce that Director of Strategy and Planning Jodi Vickery was chosen as a Rising Star for 2013.

Some of what impressed the judges included Vickery's work on developing franchised materials and processes used throughout Pioneer Services, and the fact she is the "go-to" person for strategic planning in the company. They also noted her work with military families—she was chosen as the "Volunteer of the Year" in 2009 for both her husband's Army battalion, as well as for the entire 5th Recruiting Brigade.

"Jodi's leadership and accomplishments have been instrumental in our company's continued success in serving military families," stated Joe Freeman, president of Pioneer Services. "As a military spouse, she helps us focus on doing the right things, the right way, for those who serve. All of us congratulate her on this honor."
