Laura Stack named an Influential Woman in Business

Laura Stack of Pioneer Services was nNamed a “2013 Influential Woman in Business” by KC Business Magazine.

The “Influential Women in Business” awards are KC Business magazine’s way to recognize women professionals who inspire others, create opportunities for their organizations, give back to their communities, and mentor others. Pioneer Services, military division of MidCountry Bank, is proud to announce that Chief Financial Officer Laura Stack was named to this distinguished list for 2013.

Given during a gala event March 13, 2013, at the World War I Museum, the awards are judged by an independent panel of area business and civic leaders. They then select recipients based on professional achievement, commitment to mentoring, and philanthropic involvement.

Joe Freeman, president of Pioneer Services, noted that Stack’s leadership has “been instrumental to Pioneer Services’ success. Laura’s business acumen, support for our employee culture, and her continued community involvement make her very deserving of this recognition and all of us at Pioneer congratulate her on this honor.”

This is the second award Stack has received for her business and community leadership—she was named “CFO of the Year” by the Kansas City Business Journal in 2010.
