American Business Awards Once Again Recognize Pioneer Services
Company Honored for Social Responsibility, Social Media Outreach

Pioneer Services, a division of MidCountry Bank, has spent years helping military families, whether through financial products and services, free financial education, or its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. These efforts were recently recognized by the American Business Awards with a pair of “Stevies”—one for the company’s CSR, and another for its social media outreach efforts.
The CSR award noted the company's paid volunteer time off benefit and its free financial education program. It also marks the third time the company’s program has been recognized by the American Business Awards.
“One of our corporate values is Compassion, and social responsibility is how our company and our team members turn that value into something tangible,” said Joe Freeman, president of Pioneer Services. “We put a lot of time, energy, and heart into our CSR program, and it is an honor to once again be recognized for those efforts.”
The award for social media noted the way the company has expanded its social media outreach in the past year, with large gains in followers and mentions being a key result.
“We are proud to be recognized as an industry leader in social media,” added Freeman. “It’s a tribute to the efforts we’ve made to not only be part of the online conversation, but to help drive it. Doing so allows us to better serve our customers by learning what they need and where we can help.”
Pioneer Services is no stranger to the American Business Awards, having won several times in the past for CSR, leadership, and its website. The company is also up for "Best Website – Banking” in 2014, which will be announced in September at a gala event in San Francisco.
