Pioneer Services was recently honored at the 13th Annual American Business Awards where it received a Silver Stevie for "Best Public Service/Communications" program. Titled "Helping Improve Military Family Financial Readiness," the company’s financial education efforts had been recognized earlier when it was named a Finalist in a preliminary round of the 2015 ABA Awards.
Over the years, the company has created and maintained a comprehensive, free financial education program as part of its core services to military families. A number of initiatives were implemented in 2014, including a Military Financial Literacy Survey in partnership with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling; an on-line HolidaySpendingPlanner.org budgeting tool; and the promotion of a 10-point Military Financial Bill of Rights.
Called "the business world's own Oscars" by The New York Post, the American Business Awards are a national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. More than 3,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in several categories in 2015.
Pioneer Services is no stranger to the American Business Awards, having won several times in the past for its CSR program, and executive leadership. The company also won a Gold Stevie for "Best Website – Banking” in 2014.
