May 18, 2016
For 14 years, the American Business Awards (called the “Stevies”) have been some of the most prestigious in the nation, with top brands vying to be recognized in dozens of categories. Pioneer Services, a division of MidCountry Bank, was recently honored by the American Business Awards for giving back to the military community it serves with three awards:
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of the Year—Pioneer Services was named the recipient of a Silver Stevie winner for its continued commitment to volunteerism, corporate giving, and community leadership. This marks the fourth time the company has been recognized with a Stevie for its CSR efforts.
- Best “Public Service” Communications Campaign—This award honors the company’s financial education efforts, including the company’s blog, the 2015 Military Financial Literacy Survey, the HolidaySpendingPlanner.org tool, and the 2015 Holiday Survey.
- Best Website, Financial Services—This is the second time Pioneer Services has received this award for its website, which is one of the most informative, user-friendly, and secure websites in the banking and financial services industry.
“It is an honor to be recognized nationally by the American Business Awards, especially for our volunteerism, giving, and financial education,” said Steve Meads, president of Pioneer Services. “It validates that what we are doing, both at work and in our communities, is truly making a difference.”
The awards will be presented during a gala event in New York on June 20.
