The (BBB) serving Louisville, Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky recognized us for market place ethics. The BBB Torch Awards recognize companies and non-profit organizations that have made a commitment to and exemplify ethics and integrity in the marketplace.

In an effort to provide a responsible, affordable loan to service members, and in response to an appeal by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for banking institutions to offer reasonably-priced small-dollar loan products to underserved customers, we announced the "NewPath Loan."

Pioneer Services was honored Sept., 13 by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Colorado with the "Excellence in Customer Service Award" (EICS). One of the most intensive and complex local BBB awards in the nation, the EICS application includes a detailed questionnaire, on-site visit, and interview with the office staff.

Throughout the U.S. Armed Forces there are service members working to defend this country. Similarly, there are networks of dedicated volunteers, many of them military family members, working to support their loved ones' efforts. One of those is our own Jodi Vickery, who was recognized for her volunteerism.

Pioneer Services named Laura Stack as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently Stack was Director of Corporate Finance and previously held the position of Controller for the company.

Pioneer Financial Services (PFS) announced today that it has been acquired by MidCountry Financial Corp. Pioneer's 19 retail offices, consumer lending facilities and online lending site will become the military division of MidCountry Bank. Terms were not disclosed.

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces, and their families, for the incredible sacrifices, struggles, and successes they have had defending our country. Pioneer Services celebrated the contributions of military families by holding several events and giveaways at offices across the country.

Having worked with the military community since 1986, we have a unique insight into the lives of military families. This insight led to Pioneer Services being honored with a Department of Defense Freedom Award in 2005, and its continuing push to offer innovative benefits to its deployed Guard and Reserve team members.

Pioneer Services celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2007, having gone from auto lending, to second mortgages, to loans for to the military community. The company honored this milestone by continuing to offer superior service.
