BBB Recognizes Pioneer Service for Marketplace Ethics

Company serving military families named Finalist for BBB “Torch” Award

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Western Washington recently named Pioneer Services, a Division of MidCountry Bank a Finalist for the 2018 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award recognizes companies who demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to ethics in relationships with customers, employees, and the community they serve.

Pioneer Services' local office serving the Joint Base Lewis McChord military community near Seattle-Tacoma was previously nominated. Team members then submitted extensive information about the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values – and how these are ingrained into the overall corporate culture and team member’s everyday actions when helping military families. Evaluators considered Pioneer Services' commitment to social responsibility, volunteerism and financial education. Moreover, they reviewed  the company’s 10-point Financial Bill of Rights for Military Families and the 100% Return Guarantee offered to customers.

Only well-established, brick and mortar businesses are eligible for this recognition – and Pioneer Services is pleased that several of its local offices have been recognized with BBB Torch Awards on prior occasions. Pioneer  Services has been providing financial services to the military community since 1986, helping more than 1.4 million military families.
